Not many places can say they have Bettie and Wilma at the front desk.
Granted they're not the characters from The Flintstones, but Bettie Stiritz and Wilma Flanagan have taken care of the front desk for a few years, whether it's as staff members or volunteers.
Today Bettie leaves her Monday/Tuesday Front Desk position to work full time as SL Start & Aacres, helping people with developmental disabilities find housing.
Starting next week, Wilma Flanagan will be the regular receptionist on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wilma actually 'retired' from the Wednesday-Friday receptionist job last fall but kept answering phones for both front desk and the SPR pledge drives.
She joins our regular Wednesday-Friday receptionist Jennifer Slaughter in our building at 1229 N. Monroe Street. When you come by or give a call at 328-5729, please be sure to say hello to them!
