The West Central Abbey is excited to host our inaugural film festival, with our partners the Third Order Society of St. Francis. The Franciscan Film Festival will feature three evenings of independent films oriented around the three core tenets of the Franciscan Way: Creation Care, Justice and Compassion, Joyful and Simple Living. Each night will feature a discussion led by one of the Third Order professed members and some guests from the wider community. Each evening's lineup is independent from the others, so you can come to one or multiple nights and you will walk away inspired, challenged, and hopefully transformed. Our deep hope is that these evenings will spark something within you that you will in turn meet the deepest needs around you in a new way. Doors open at 6:00pm each night and you will see two short films and one feature length film. Drinks and snacks will be available for donation.
