The Spokane Folklore Society is hosting two free introductory contradance lessons on two Wednesdays, September 6 & 13 at 7:30 to 9:30PM at the Woman's Club Hall at 1428 W 9th in Spokane. Here is a great opportunity to find out more about contradancing, a community based dance that involves live folk music and energetic smiling folks. Experienced callers will teach east to learn dances that involve dancing in lines with partners and other couples. No partner is necessary. Casual dress. All ages are welcome. Gender free calling.
