PPP Presents Fabric Artist Nan Drye this Dec!
PPP Presents Fabric Artist Nan Drye this Dec!
Nan Drye has been a working artist for 25 years and her first love has always been textiles. She started out designing and making clothing, and explored synthetic dyes as part of that. In 2011 Nan discovered the eco printing process, and has been doing that ever since. But every once in awhile an artist needs to branch out and explore and that is what this fiber jewelry show is about.
Accessories can pull an outfit together, dress up plain clothing, or help us express ourselves. Fiber jewelry is an extension of that ~ earrings, cuffs, bracelets, necklaces, collars, and scarves all made from small pieces of fine fabric, many made from upcycled materials.
Stop by Pottery Place Plus in the Liberty Building this Dec to see Nan's work ~ stop by First Friday Dec 5th from 5-8pm to meet Nan in person!
