The Art Spirit Gallery is thrilled to announce the opening reception for the May exhibition, ‘Real Vision’, featuring a collective of talented artists: Doug Fluckiger, Stephanie Frostad, Samuel Gentz, Wilson Ong, and Molly Sims. Join us for this vibrant celebration of creativity on Saturday, May 3rd, at 11 AM.
"Real Vision" is a captivating art exhibit that showcases the diverse talents of three innovative painters, a skilled woodworking artist, and an intriguing collection of large-scale graphite drawings. This collection invites visitors to experience the interplay among different artistic mediums, each highlighting the theme of perception and reality.
The exhibit features thought-provoking works from our talented artists. Doug Fluckiger aptly captures the beauty of the Idaho landscape through his photorealistic mountain drawings, while Stephanie Frostad employs narrative painting to explore themes of identity, memory, and connection. Wilson Ong demonstrates his range of artistry with oil paintings of tranquil landscapes, as well as the human figure, showcasing his mastery of spontaneity and precision. Molly Sims adds depth to the exhibition with her lifelike wildlife paintings that foster connection and empathy for the natural world. Alongside them, Samuel Gentz presents meticulously crafted wooden pieces that perfectly balance form and function, celebrating the whimsical nature of the world while highlighting time-honored joinery techniques.
"Real Vision" serves as a dynamic exploration of artistic expression, inviting attendees to engage with the multifaceted nature of vision and creativity and discover the beauty that arises from different artistic perspectives.
