Retired US Ambassador Ryan Crocker - The United States, Middle East and Global Leadership

Retired US Ambassador Ryan Crocker - The United States, Middle East and Global Leadership

The Middle East has been in significant turmoil for over 15 months. What is the appropriate role for the United
States to play in this quagmire. How important is U.S. leadership in keeping the conflict from widening and
bringing a relative peace to the region?

Are critics of Israel right or misguided? What are some potential endgame scenarios to conflict in Gaza. What
are some opportunities in Syria with the new regime? What are the biggest obstacles to peace, and the largest threats to U.S. interests in the Middle East?

What changes should we expect from the new Trump Administration? Who may get confirmed to serve in key
positions and are they qualified?

Ambassador Crocker will present his thoughts and insights on these events and the potential geopolitical future.
His presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience. Join us for what
promises to be a very interesting and thought-provoking event.
