The Spokane Foklore Society's Special Contra Dance features two bands and a caller who have been hired for the Lady of the Lake Music and Dance Camp the following week. From Durango, Colorado, Wendy Graham will teach and call a variety of easy to learn dances including squares and contras. Two bands will be sharing the evening - Greg and Jere Canote from Seattle and Countercurrent from Olympia. The dance is Saturday June 22 starting at 7PM at the East Spokane Grange. All ages are welcome. Partners are not required. Not experience is necessary. If you can walk, you can dance! Special prices: General Admission is $15; SFS Members and Students $12; kids under 18 $5.
