Teatime at the Schoolhouse

Teatime at the Schoolhouse
Coeur d’Alene–area families are invited to step into a storybook setting on Saturday, June 21, 2025, for Teatime at the Schoolhouse, a Woodland Fantasy–themed tea party held at the historic Twin Lakes Community Schoolhouse in Rathdrum. The event offers guests an enchanting afternoon of tea, finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats served in a beautifully restored 1910 schoolhouse just a short drive from town.
The event includes two seating options: the first from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., and the second from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This family-friendly experience welcomes guests of all ages, and attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest garden party attire — whimsical outfits and fancy hats are especially encouraged.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Seating is limited to 50 guests per session, and tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.twinlakesschool.org. Tickets will not be available at the door.
All proceeds benefit the ongoing restoration of the Twin Lakes Community Schoolhouse, a protected historic landmark and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to preserve a treasured piece of North Idaho history.
“We’re so excited to bring this magical event to the community,” said Shawna Nelson, Social Media Chair for the Twin Lakes Community Schoolhouse. “Whether you're coming from Coeur d’Alene or just around the corner, we hope families will join us for a memorable tea and support the future of this beautiful building.”
