Paula Poundstone entertained at the Bing Crosby Theater as a benefit to Spokane Public Radio.

More than 700 people laughed along with comedian Paula Poundstone on her visit to the Bing Crosby Theater on October 15, 2015.

Onstage with just the microphone, a stool, and a can of Diet Pepsi, Paula chatted about politics, education, her teenage son and electronics, her two daughters, and more than a dozen cats.

Her incredible improv abilities came to light when she got the audience to talk back to her about their own lives. For example, after hearing that a doctor in the audience shows his patients Powerpoint presentations, she imagined a whole slideshow on what a typical doctor/patient show would look like.  That same improvisational wit is on display at her Twitterfeed and on Facebook.  She also occasionally puts together a quirky video from her website, PaulaPoundstone.com.

Many of her panel appearances from the NPR News Quiz Wait Wait... Don't Tell Meare archived on their podcast pageWait Wait airs every Saturday first at 11 a.m. on KSFC 91.9 and again at 2 p.m. on KPBX 91.1.

Tickets sold out, with proceeds benefiting Spokane Public Radio.
