Emily Nelson

Born and raised in Spokane, Emily has spent her entire life living in and learning about the amazing Spokane community for Spokane Public Radio. After nearly a decade of working at and managing local icon Dick’s Hamburgers, she realized her passions for running a business and serving her community went hand in hand and decided to go back to school to obtain her Bachelor’s of Business Management. While in school she worked in the Tech for Public Interest industry, where she was inspired by how technology can impact nonprofits and tech for good companies. A recent graduate, Emily is excited to have started her journey with Spokane Public Radio, where she hopes to continue to inform, inspire, and grow with the Spokane community.
