Mark your calendars for the 53rd Annual Art on the Green, which will be held July 30, 31, and August 1, on the grounds of North Idaho College. Spokane Public Radio will not have a booth this year, but will be a media partner for the event.
Art on the Green is one of the longest running Art Festivals in the Pacific Northwest. The festival began on the Rotary tennis courts (at the old McEuen playfield) in 1968 and has grown to encompass the beautiful green space on the campus of NIC bordering Coeur d’Alene Lake and the Spokane River.
This year promises to be another amazing festival with great new entertainment, 100 plus Fine Artist Booths (including several artists new to “Art on the Green”); great food, great family fun, art classes, The Clothesline Art Sale, The Children’s Art Garden, the Juried Art Show, our infamous Sandcastle and much more! You can learn more about the events and booths found at Art on the Green at their website here.
