Hear Washington Secretary of State Candidates

The Washington chapter of the League of Women Voters recently held a forum with the four candidates for Washington Secretary of State.

Four candidates, including the incumbent, Republican Kim Wyman, are running for the office that administers elections in Washington.

Those candidates are:

Kim Wyman from the Republican Party

Kim Wyman has been Washington's secretary of state for the last eight years. Before that, she was the auditor in Thurston County.

Gentry Lange from the Progressive Party

Gentry Lange is a small business owner in the information technology field and a political activist.

Ed Minger from the Independent Party

Ed Minger is a high school history teacher in Fife, Washington.

Gael Tarleton from the Democratic Party

Rep. Gael Tarleton represents the 36th Legislative District (Seattle) in the state House of Representatives.
