Little Red Shed

Ken Glastre, Charley Gurche and Kevin Brown have been performing together for nearly 20 years as part of the rhythm & bluegrass quintet Big Red Barn. "Little Red Shed" is the trio version of this combo, with a repertoire that travels the slower backroads of American Roots Music with an easy, intuitive sense of direction that can only come from a lot of musical miles travelled together.

About the members:

Kevin Brown plays guitar and mandolin, writes his own original songs, has recorded multiple CD’s, helps to coordinate the Bluewater’s Bluegrass Festival. Kevin also hosts SPR’s Front Porch Bluegrass Sunday’s at 1 p.m. on KPBX 91.1.

Ken Glastre has played guitar and mandolin with a variety of groups, has his own sound company, Perfect Wave Sound and provides audio and technical expertise for a variety of festivals including the Fall Folk Festival.

Charley Gurche plays banjo and dobro. Along with his musical talents Gurche is one of our country’s foremost nature and landscape photographers. With over 30 years in the field, Gurche has provided photographs for 130 calendars and 14 books and has his own photography studio in Spokane.
