Season 7, Episode 13: My First Cult

Have you fond memories of your first cult? Was it Scientology? Libertarianism? Or perhaps a slavish devotion to the forces of Big Library? Kevin and Tony reminiscence about wearing hair shirts and being given pamphlets during particularly drunken Earth Day celebrations. They invite you to share your own First Cult story on your blog (which they'll never read). After the hosts get "de-programmed," it's time for "Wiltshire Girl's Academy for the Privileged," in which Deborah recalls her salad days of getting pushed, kicked and bullied at Wiltshire. But will Deobrah get the last laugh in the end as her oldest friend from Wiltshire has yet another rhinoplasty that makes her nose actually disappear? Then it's back off to the sodden, wind-whipped shores of County Clare, Ireland, where young Liam McTaggart apprentices himself to "Fiona Lynch's Irish Burrito Stand and Boxing Gym." Lesson one in Irish boxing: "lye on, lye off." Then Men in Charge Test Kitchens exposes you to "Betty Bunch Makes Holiday Jello Molds." We're sure you'll be as impressed and delighted as Betty's teenager daughter Bibi, who is along for the ride. Finally, Unitarian pastor Tim Greenleaf says a few words at the wake of Lower Heighs local Frank. Pastor Tim's spiritual materialism is all too much for the mourners, who begin to drink. (At a WAKE, no less! Some people!)
