Spokane Youth Ballet will present its Summer Concert 2019 at 7 pm Saturday at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. It is an evening of two one-act ballets performed by the students of the Academy of Dance. The first is "The Seasons," a charming love story set to the music of Alexander Glazunov. That's followed by the premiere of "Sleeping Rosa," a contemporary ballet that reimagines the classic fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty set in Spanish Harlem. Both ballets feature guest artist Benjamin Tucker of Nevada Ballet Theater.
