There’s new leadership at the Spokane Regional Health District. Dr. Bob Lutz, family doctor by trade and most recently the clinical director of urgent care for Rockwood, has taken over as the county health officer.
Lutz’s career has been in health care at the micro level: one patient, one doctor. But he also has a master’s degree in public health, which considers health care within the greater population. He has served on the Spokane County health board for the last eight years.
