Inland Journal, Oct. 19, 2017

This week on Inland Journal:

?    Steve Jackson will report on Proposition 2, the oil and coal train initiative that Spokane city voters will decide in November. We’ll hear a variety of perspectives on the measure.
?    We’ll profile the candidates in the race for a city council seat in Spokane’s Northwest district. Candace Mumm is the incumbent. She’s challenged by small business owner Matthew Howes.
?    And we’ll profile three lesser known measures on the Washington state ballot. They are dubbed Advisory Votes 16, 17 and 18. They’re asking voter preferences on three tax increases approved this year by the state legislature.
