Inlander Columnist Robert Herold Issues Book of Essays

Longtime Spokane Public Radio listeners may remember Robert Herold’s Tuesday morning political commentaries. At the time he was a professor of government and vice provost at Eastern Washington University. And he opined on things from Spokane’s local politics to issues at the national and international levels. He now teaches urban politics at Gonzaga University.

In 1994, Herold took his talents to Spokane’s alternative weekly paper, The Inlander, and has been writing for it ever since. Recently, he compiled some of his best work for a book.
