French, Anthony Compete For Spokane County Commission Seat

Al French

Al French and Robbi Katherine Anthony are the candidates for the Spokane County commission seat that French has held for the last eight years. French is an architect by trade, though much of the last 16 years, he’s been an elected official, eight with the Spokane City Council and the last eight as county commissioner. Spokane Public Radio’s Steve Jackson talks with Al French.

The Democratic candidate challenging French is Robbi Katherine Anthony, a transgender woman who operates two companies in downtown Spokane: Praxis Coworking, a place in the Holley-Mason Building where entrepreneurs can rent space and other business-related amenities, and Firedove Technology, a web design and marketing firm. She talks with Doug Nadvornick.
