Freya Liggett of the NW Museum of Arts & Culture previews their holiday activities

Freya Liggett, curator of history at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC), joined E.J. Iannelli in the KPBX studio to talk about the Campbell House Holidays.

Campbell House Holidays is an opportunity for the public to tour the historic residence and enjoy period-accurate Christmas decorations. Along with taking part in a scavenger hunt, attendees can interact with the living history character actors who portray Campbell House staff circa 1918.

The Campbell House Holidays event runs December 17, 18, 20 and 21.

Liggett also touched on the upcoming 125th anniversary of the Campbell House in 2023 as well as the activities and exhibitions that will be available at the MAC over the winter break.

These include the "Gift of a Moment" exhibit of Lila Shaw Girvin's work, the "Dancing with Life: Mexican Masks" exhibit, the "Savages and Princesses" exhibit, and the Art & Music series that will feature live jazz music alongside the "American Impressionism" exhibit from December 17 to 23.

More information about the Campbell House Holidays and all the other ongoing exhibits is available at the MAC website.
