Fourteen year-old pianist Daniel Beal returns to the Spokane Public Radio performance studio to play and narrate a recital of music by Black composers to honor Black History Month. Composers represented on Daniel's program range from Scott Joplin and Estelle Ricketts representing the nineteenth century, to Margaret Bonds and Florence Price from the twentieth, to African composer Fred Onovwerosuoke in our time.
