Spokane Symphony Music Director James Lowe and IntelliTect Spokane CEO Grant Erickson acme to KPBX to discuss this weekend's Masterworks program. Called "Beethoven vs. A.I," it features one of the monuments of symphonic writing, Beethoven's Third Symphony, the "Eroica," also the overture to his only ballet, "The Creatures of Prometheus," and a completion of the composer's sketches for a 10th symphony, done by a contemporary musicologist and (with Grant Erickson's help) Artificial Intelligence.
