Fred Shibley of Post Falls shares the sounds and inside stories of his dad Arkie Shibley, a West Coast country star of the early 1950's. Arkie's "Hot Rod Race" was the forerunner to Charlie Ryan's well known "Hot Rod Lincoln". Arkie moved to Idaho later in the 1950's and operated his own bar and restaurant in North Idaho into the 1970's. This encore presentation was first aired in 1999.
