Pianist YunJoung Park presents a recital of music by three Russian composers—Alexander Scriabin, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Modest Mussorgsky—at the Steinway Gallery in Spokane Valley on Saturday afternoon (Hallowe'en) at 3. Yun came to the SPR studio to play excerpts from Rachmaninoff's "Variations on a Theme of Corelli" Mussorgsky's beloved "Pictures at an Exhibition." She and Jim Tevenan also discuss her process of preparation of these challenging masterworks.
