Donell Barlow was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She is Yurok and an enrolled member of the Ottawa tribe/ Otter clan. She is the author of Medicine Tracks-A Memoir, Bigfoot and Lightning Bug, and Words Have No Meaning.
