Kara Bowman reads "A Life for a Life" by Dinah Maria Mulock Craik.

Kara Bowman is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in grief and trauma. She has a part-time private practice in Santa Cruz, California, where she lives with her husband near the redwoods and the ocean. In the summer of 2020, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists honored Kara’s practice with a feature in The Therapist magazine. Her book of poems, "Heartbreak to Hope: Poems of Support for Grief and Loss,” was published in 2021 by Adelaide Books.
