Local author and artist reads her own poem about trust, courage and independence

Diane Sherman is an interdisciplinary artist who is devoted to the transformative process of shifting consciousness using the creative process — whether that be through movement, writing or visual art.

Her mission is to ignite peoples’ connection to their inner lives and offer them a modality through which to express their unique life experience. She is based out of Spokane, WA.

Sherman's most recent book is In Borrowed Shoes, 108 vignettes told through a mix of memoir, anecdote and poetry.
