Spokane-based poet recounts the realization that a passion is now a necessity

Alexander A. Manzoni has been writing poetry and prose for over twenty years. In September 2014, he moved to Spokane, Washington, from Newfield, New Jersey. Out of quarantine, he can be found performing at arts events and readings in the Spokane-CdA area.

His poems have been included in Spokane Writes: A Poetry & Prose Anthology and Washington’s Best Emerging Poets 2019. He also has work appearing in the new anthologies Evermore Second Edition (Raven’s Quoth Publishing) and I Sing the Salmon Home edited by Washington State Poet Laureate Rena Priest.
