Singer-songwriter presents a work about confronting disaster... or not

Liz Rognes is a musician, writer, and teacher. Her essays and poetry have been featured in various publications, such as Brain Child: the Magazine for Thinking Mothers and Railtown Almanac.

As a singer/songwriter, she has released two indie-folk albums, and she helped co-found Girls Rock Lab, a youth music program that amplifies the voices of girls and queer kids. She has an MFA in creative writing from Eastern Washington University, where she is now a senior lecturer in the Department of English and Philosophy.
