Nicola Pearson is an award winning playwright and author. Her recently released novel “Sanctified,” a work of historical fiction, is based on the true story of the first safe house for women, established in 1870 by the Women’s Commonwealth of Belton, Texas. Nicola is married to the potter at Sauk Mountain Pottery in the Upper Skagit Valley, and divides her time between selling his work and writing.
