The Idaho Mythweaver revisits Nez Perce history and Coyote's adventures

The penultimate episode of The Bookshelf features "Going Upstream" by The Idaho Mythweaver.

This retrospective draws on the Mythweaver's past work on the Nez Perce and salmon as well as excerpts from a recent Nez Perce podcast on storytelling and Celilo Falls. It demonstrates that the Salmon Nation was in danger back then, and it still is today.

New Idaho Mythweaver episodes titled "People of the Salmon" will be broadcast in 2023.

In the meantime, you can learn more about the initiative and listen to past podcasts at The Idaho Mythweaver website.
