Healthcare is one of the largest industries in the nation employing millions of workers and growing. Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET’s) are an essential part of the healthcare team. BMET’s maintain and repair a variety of medical equipment including, ultrasound machines, defibrillators, drug administration pumps, anesthesia machines and much more.
SCC will be hosting an event centered around the BMET career. Washington State Biomedical Association, Providence, Kootenai Health, and others will be in attendance to showcase some of the equipment and career opportunities in the area.
