Christmas at the End of the Road celebration is coming up. It is the kick-off to an exciting Holiday Season in Winthrop.
Christmas at the end of the road events calendar:
-Thursday November 23 at 9am, Turkey Trot 5k fun run organized by the Winthrop Park Run located at Methow Trials Trailhead, 21 Horizon Flats Rd.
-Friday November 24 at 5:30pm – 7:30 pm, Skate with Santa at Winthrop Rink.
Saturday November 25:
- 12pm, Santa will be traveling through town by horse drawn carriage from the rink to the Red Barn Auditorium.
- 1pm-4pm, Children’s Winter Fest hosted by the Winthrop Kiwanis. Located at the Red Barn Auditorium. Includes Santa photos, hot chocolate, art projects, and activities. As well as horse drawn carriage rides between town and the Auditorium.
-3pm, campfires and vendors on Riverside Ave.
-5pm, Town Lighting, which includes the first annual larger Christmas tree located at Confluence Park.
-5:05pm, caroling and choir performance.
-6pm, the famous firework show.

- Locals shopping nights every Thursdays in December. Includes discounts at participating businesses.
- Music along Riverside and horse drawn Carriage rides departing from the Red Barn
-Dec 9, 11am-3pm, The Winthrop Christmas Bazaar at the Red barn Auditorium.
-Dec15, Sip and Shop, Wine and shopping event. Pre-registration suggested, see the events page on winthropwashington.com. A tour of five businesses and five wine tastings.
-Dec 16, Mistletoe Madness in Twisp
