Climbing Clinic: Grip, Clip, Climb

Climbing Clinic: Grip, Clip, Climb

Grip, Clip, Climb is a three-day climbing clinic for ages 12–16 held August 17–19 from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the EWU Climbing Wall. This clinic is designed for a range of experience
levels, from newer climbers who want to build confidence at the wall to more experienced
climbers who want to improve technique and learn new skills. Possible activities include
supervised climb time, on-the-wall challenges, knot tying, movement drills, route reading
and setting, top-rope climbing, belay practice, and rappelling. Climbers will leave with
improved movement efficiency, greater confidence on the wall, introductory tie-in and top-rope climbing skills, and a camp T-shirt! Participants should bring lunch, water, and
comfortable athletic wear each day.
