Fly Fishing 101

Fly Fishing 101

Whether you are new, experienced, or just curious, there is a way to get to know fly fishing while having fun! Taught by fly fishers who enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience, you will learn about all aspects of fly fishing. Classes include fly casting, proper use of gear, safety, fish identification, bugs, reading the water, stream and lake techniques and more. Fly tying demonstrations will be before class as well as during breaks.

Four classes, 90 minutes each, contain enough information for you to have a fun time fly fishing. All students will receive a FF101 Manual, a one-year membership in NIFC, and a grab bag of fly fishing items. Come join us and learn how fly fishing can be easy, exciting, and full of fun!
