Gradience

Gradience

This production is a culmination of seven years of traditional and contemporary shows that have grown in scope and scale each year. Quiero Flamenco has striven to increase the level of artistry and experience of its dancers in the years since its first production 2017. Due to hard work and rising levels of production, Quiero was recognized by Spokane Arts and now by KSPS-PBS, which is producing Gradience at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center.
Gradience is Quiero Flamenco’s eighth production. The show is about the blurred lines between Flamenco and other dance styles Quiero explores in the production. It also will highlight traditional Flamenco improvisation in a Tablao setting. Quiero has spent the last seven years training local professional dancers in the art of Flamenco and Gradience is a blend of Flamenco, contemporary, and classical dance that reflects the magnitude of Flamenco training and the talent of the incredible local dance community.
