Hillyard Heritage Celebrations and the Hillyard Community are celebrating the Hillyard Festival, Hi-Jinx Parade, and Roll “N” Hillyard Car Show August 4, 5 & 6 2023. Times for the Festival are Friday, August 4 from noon to 10:00 pm, Saturday, August 5, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, August 6, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Three days of family fun and continuous free entertainment beginning at noon on “Senior Day “Friday, August 4 in Harmon Park, located on Market Street between Decatur and Bismark. This is the epicenter of fun with live entertainment on stage, a vendor fair, food, soft drinks, “The Pirate Cove” Beer Garden, crafts, kid’s games and we can’t forget Bingo which is still only 25 cents per card, and lots more.
Enjoy continuous live entertainment by some of the region’s most talented musicians, dancers, and entertainers, scheduled to change about every 60 minutes. Some of this year’s headliners include bands Slap Shop, Jacob Vanknowe, Dream Quest, Hillyard Belles and many others. Other entertainment includes Dreamtime Dancers and much more.

Saturday’s events kick off at 10:00 AM with the 111th Hi-Jinx Parade. This year’s parade theme is “HILLYARD BOOMTOWN” Parade entrants can register that morning or online at www.hillyardfestival.com if they want to be announced during the Hi-Jinx parade. Come out and enjoy the Bicycles, cars, and floats entries. Ribbons will be rewarded for the best entries. After the traditional Hi-Jinx Parade join us in Harmon Park for endless fun. 11:00 AM Starts everything in the park. We are working on having a midway this year that will have many fun and exciting games for the children. Fireworks begin at 9:45 PM. (Weather permitting)
An Open Church Non-Denominational church service on Sunday, August 6, beginning at 10:00 am. Following the church service, come out and vote for the People’s Choice Award in the 6th Annual Roll “N” Hillyard Car Show. Back by popular demand, the Car Show will be held in Harmon Park beginning at 11:00 am.
