The Spokane Buddhist Temple's 10th Annual Buddhist Obon Festival, a Japanese cultural event honoring our ancestors. Free entrance/free kid’s games/charge for food. Featuring Japanese Artist Displays & Sales, Kid’s
Games, Bento Boxes, Sushi & Desserts, a Buddhist Service, and Bon Odori dancing at 5 pm. These dances are easy to follow and led by Izumi and the Spokane Buddhist Temple Bon Odori Dancers. Come Dance for Joy for your ancestors. Serving Japanese Peanut Butter Noodle Salad Bento Boxes with Sunomono (Pork or Tofu) $15 & Inari Sushi & Mochi Desserts $7.
