Our Red Book: A Reading and Sharing Event—Intimate Histories of Periods, Growing, & Changing

Rachel Kauder Nalebuff, editor of OUR RED BOOK, and guests will give readings from the anthology, followed by a voluntary activity for those interested in sharing their own menstruation stories.

Our Red Book: Intimate Histories of Periods, Growing & Changing is a new anthology that centers menstruation equity and bodily autonomy. Editor Rachel Kauder Nalebuff will present stories from the anthology with contributor Laurelin Kruse and then will guide interested participants in a voluntary activity where they can share their own menstruation stories. Wishing Tree Books will be on hand to sell copies of the book.

Of the book, a starred review in Publishers Weekly states, "Nalebuff interjects frequently with commentary and anecdotes, artfully linking stories together. Bold and candid, these missives go a long way in breaking through what one contributor calls 'the taboo of bleeding.'"
