The Pine Creek Community Restoration Long Term Recovery Organization (LTRO) will host their fifth annual Fall Festival from noon to 4 pm. on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The day will feature a free BBQ lunch, music by Theresa Edwards and the Bobs, games, raffles, and a bike rodeo with free bike repairs sponsored by Three Forks Bike. Lunch begins at noon.
The visiting public will be able to tour Malden's new Community Center, and kids of all ages can play on the new park equipment, try out the new pump track, play corn hole, race in a gunny sack, and join the pie eating contest.”
The Pine Creek Fall Festival marks 5 years since the devastating Babb Road fire destroyed the Town of Malden and neighboring Pine City. In response to community feedback, this festival is focused on the future.
The community now boasts new homes, new residents, and two new public buildings which house the fire station, post office, library and community event space. The new trailhead park has a playground, bike repair stations, outdoor bathrooms with showers, and an amphitheater. The community center has a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and both new buildings have high- speed fiber connectivity.
