Pottery Place Plus is pleased to welcome two highly accomplished bicultural Spokane artists in the month of May ~ Chicano-American photographer Miguel Gonzales & Scandinavian-American painter Ladd Bjorneby. Miguel began exploring photography in 1979 with his father in a small home-built darkroom in the back of the garage. His photographs reconnect his Mexican culture and American upbringing, honoring the indigenous heritage in each composition. Ladd has been painting landscapes & nature most of his life, in watercolor, oil & acrylic. His is a vision of what we all share ~ the nature that surrounds us, refreshes us, brings peace, calm and health.
