Spokane Audubon program on Beavers

Spokane Audubon program on Beavers

Beavers and humans have a long and complicated relationship that Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) habitat biologist Jacob Levitus will explore at Audubon's March meeting (or via Zoom from link at www.audubonspokane.org.) Levitus’ work focuses on restoring and protecting diverse landscapes across Spokane, Lincoln and Whitman counties through collaborative, science-driven conservation. In this ecological overview of beavers he will cover historical impacts, beaver behavior, ecosystem services, and conflict management.
