The Spokane Folklore Society hosts its Halloween Contra Dance on Wedensday November 8 with caller Emily Faulkner and the band Dog Paw. Everyone is encouraged to wear your favorite costume and bring the left over candy! Emily will teach and call easy to learn dances. Newcomers are welcome No partner is necessary. All ages are welcome. Newcomer session begins at 7:15PM. The dance follows at 7:30PM ending at 9:30.
General admission is $10; SFS members and students $7; and kids are free. The dance is held at the Woman's Club Hall on 9th and Walnut. For more information call 509-838-2160
