The Spokane Folklore Society hosts contra dances on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays with the November 15 dances featuring caller Mitchel Frey and the band River City Ramblers. Mitchell will teach and call easy to learn dances. Newcomers are welcome. No partners are necessary. All ages are welcome. Come be a part of a fun and kind
community. A newcomer session at 7:15 followed by the dance starting at 7:30 ending at 9:30PM. All our Wednsday dances are held at the Woman's Club Hall, 9th and Walnut. General admission is $10, SFS members and students is $7, and kids under 18 are free. For more information, call 509-838-2160
