The Spokane Folklore Society hosts its 3rd Wednesday contra dance on January 21st at the Woman's Club Hall beginning with a newcomer's session at 7:15PM followed by two hours of dancing ending at 9:30PM. Each dance is taught ahead of the dance by caller Nora Scott. Then she prompts the dance with live music provided by Reel Friends featuring an accordion player. Everyone is welcome including singles and couples. No partner is necessary. General admission is $10. SFS members and college students $7. Under 18 - free.
