Spokane Youth Ballet Summer Concert

Spokane Youth Ballet Summer Concert

Spokane Youth Ballet returns to The Fox to present two one-act ballets for audiences of all ages. Joined by Special Guest Artists Antonio Rosario and Harris Kahler, the students of the Academy of Dance will present Kristen Potts’ “The Seasons,” a charming story of love and magic set to Glazunov’s enchanting score of the same name. Following this, SYB company dancers, joined by Special Guests Artists Harris Kahler and Elizabeth Booth, will debut Phaedra Jarrett’s new ballet, “Peter Pan.” Based on the beloved classic by James Barrie with a steampunk twist, this contemporary ballet explores themes of love, friendship, family, and growing up in a world where anything is possible. Spokane Youth Ballet is a non-profit junior dance company in residence at the Academy of Dance that offers training and performance opportunities for student dancers throughout the Spokane metro area.
