The Spokane Folklore Society hosts a contra and English country dance Saturday October 10 at the East Spokane Grange starting at 7PM. Caller Bev Young from Missoula will offer an evening of both contra and English country dances. Don't worry, she will teach every dance. As for English Country dances, think Jane Austin or Bridgerton. They are fun and easy to learn. Music will be provided by the Prestwold Orchestra featuring two violins, flute, guitar and bass. Everyone is welcomed. Singles, partners, and families. Dress is casual.
