Based on Rachel Sheinkin’s Tony Award-winning musical, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee follows six wonderfully unique middle school students as they compete for the chance to be spelling champion. As the contestants navigate unexpected challenges, fierce competition, and the ups and downs of growing up, their personalities and dreams shine through in hilarious and heartfelt ways. A charming, witty and surprisingly touching musical about friendship, self-discovery and finding where you belong.
