An Interview with 2 Simmons

The artists known as 2 Simmons are Bill and Karma Simmons. Their sculptures, architectural designs and furniture can be seen throughout the Inland Northwest including public artwork along the Spokane River near the Spokane Convention Center, in Coeur d’Alene’s Johnson Mill River Park and in Jeff Jones Square in downtown Sandpoint. Their newest sculptural installation titled "Opening Act” is featured prominently in the recently reopened and renovated First Interstate Center for the Arts (formerly known as the INB Performing Arts Center) in Spokane.

Chris Maccini previously worked at SPR as Morning Edition host and producing arts and special programming such as The Bookshelf, Poetry Moment, Northwest Arts Review, special features and more.
