SPR City Council Interviews: Luc Jasmin III

Courtesy of Luc Jasmin III.

This week we’re continuing our series profiling city council candidates running for the open seat in the Northeast, City Council District 1.

Spokane Public Radio’s Rebecca White discusses homelessness, policing, affordable housing and the environment with candidate Luc Jasmin, who is running for the open District 1 seat. The seat is currently held by Kate Burke, who is not seeking re-election.

Jasmin owns a daycare and is a member of several boards, including the Police Ombudsmen Commission, and is one of three candidates. He is running against business owner Jonathan Bingle and Naghmana Sherazi, a Cytogenetic Technologist who also works in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Gonzaga University.
